We are deeply saddened by the loss of a respected member of our community. Datuk Idris Abdullah @ Das Murthy was not only an accomplished individual but also someone who contributed meaningfully to those around him.
He graduated with a LLB (Hons) from University of Malaya in 1981. He started his career as a practising lawyer in Sarawak in 1982. Datuk Idris subsequently held various key positions, amongst others, as a Commission Member of the Companies Commission of Malaysia (2007-2014), Commission Member of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (2008-2010 and 2011-2015), Board Member of Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (2010-2014), and Board Member of Pos Malaysia Berhad.
During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who knew him. May his legacy of service and dedication continue to inspire us all.
